About UB1UB2 News
UB1UB2 News covers Southall, Hayes, Hounslow, Ealing and the towns around them in West London. We report what's happening on our streets: crime and court cases, fires and crashes, transport, councils, new openings and closures, and the people and events that make the area what it is.
Most of our stories start with something a local has filmed or told us. Where there's an official account, from the police, the fire brigade, TfL or the council, we use it, and we say when something hasn't been confirmed. We publish first on Instagram @ub1ub2, and every story is kept here with the date and time it went out.
What isn't news
Paid partnerships and adverts for local businesses are not news, so they're left out of this site. Our own adverts for the UB1UB2 Card are taken out of the stories here too.
Our daily email
If you sign up for our morning email, we keep only your email address, use it only to send you the news, and never share or sell it. Every email has a link to unsubscribe, which deletes you from the list at once. To ask about your data, email hello@ub1ub2card.com.
Corrections and complaints
If we've got something wrong, or you're named in a story and want to talk to us, email hello@ub1ub2card.com or message @ub1ub2 on Instagram. When we get something wrong, we correct it.
