Karachi rapper JJ47 releases debut album All I Ever after 17 years in Urdu hip-hop
The 10-track record, released through Mass Appeal, features Talha Anjum, Talhah Yunus and Asim Azhar, with most of the production by Jokhay.
JJ47, the Karachi rapper widely seen as one of the pioneers of Urdu hip-hop, has released his debut album, All I Ever. It comes about 17 years after he started rapping in 2008.
Streaming service listings show the album came out on 4 September 2026 on the Mass Appeal label. It has 10 tracks.
Over that time he has built a following well beyond Pakistan, including among South Asian listeners in the UK. For his fans in Southall, Hayes, Hounslow and across West London, the album is a long-awaited first full-length record from an artist best known for his collaborations.
A who's who of Urdu hip-hop
The guest list includes some of the biggest names in the genre. Talha Anjum appears on two tracks. Talhah Yunus, his partner in the Karachi duo Young Stunners, also features, as does the singer Asim Azhar.
Jokhay, the producer who has worked with JJ47 for years, produced most of the record. Rapper and producer Umair is also credited, including on the opening track, Wait a Sec.
Other listed tracks include Call Mat Kar, Paid Time Off, Kabhi Nahi, Gangland, Tasweer, Moonlight and Way 2 Blessed. Streaming listings also credit the American rapper Ghostface Killah, of the Wu-Tang Clan, on Gangland alongside Talha Anjum, Talhah Yunus, Umair and Jokhay.
From street rap to a love song
The album covers a lot of ground. Call Mat Kar is cold, hard street rap, while Sundown, with Asim Azhar, is an outright love song. The record ends with Na Fana.
The title is left unfinished on purpose. Each track completes the sentence that begins "All I ever" in its own way.
A long road to a first album
Until now, JJ47 was known mainly for his singles, EPs and guest verses. His 2021 track BAAZ, with Jokhay, Talhah Yunus and Talha Anjum, became one of his best-known songs.
He also appears on Glass Half Full, from Talha Anjum's 2023 album Open Letter, alongside Talhah Yunus and Umair. The track has had millions of views.
In 2024 he released the project 10 Minute Drill with Talha Anjum and Jokhay, which included the track Runnin'. Earlier in 2026 he put out an EP, Blood Sweat & Fears, with Jani.
Urdu hip-hop has grown fast over the past decade. Karachi acts such as Young Stunners now draw audiences around the world, and the scene has strong support among the South Asian diaspora in Britain.
Fans who have had BAAZ and Glass Half Full on repeat have waited a long time for a full album from JJ47. All I Ever is out now on the major streaming platforms.
