UK ticket-holder wins £111 million EuroMillions jackpot
One ticket matched all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars in the draw on Friday 25 September, making it the third UK EuroMillions jackpot win of 2026.
A single UK ticket-holder has won the £111 million EuroMillions jackpot after matching all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars in the draw on Friday 25 September.
The winning main numbers were 11, 12, 15, 38 and 49, and the Lucky Stars were 10 and 12.
Allwyn, which runs the National Lottery, confirmed the win but has not named the ticket-holder. It has not said where in the UK the winning ticket was bought.
What the operator said
Andy Carter, of Allwyn, said: "Wow, what fantastic news for a UK EuroMillions player tonight." He urged players to check their tickets.
National Lottery winners can decide whether to go public or stay anonymous. The operator usually confirms when a large prize has been claimed, and only names a winner if they agree to it.
Third UK jackpot this year
This is the third time a UK player has won the EuroMillions jackpot in 2026. On 10 March, a UK ticket-holder won £181 million, which is the third biggest National Lottery win of all time.
In April, two UK players shared a £125 million jackpot with a player in France.
The biggest UK National Lottery win is still the £195 million EuroMillions jackpot won in July 2022.
The same draw was also won in Switzerland, where the prize was worth about 123 million Swiss francs. This is because EuroMillions is played in several European countries, and jackpots are shown in each country's own currency.
Check your ticket
The odds of winning the EuroMillions jackpot are 1 in 139,838,160. To win, a player has to match all five main numbers, chosen from 1 to 50, and both Lucky Stars, chosen from 1 to 12.
Anyone who bought a ticket for the draw on 25 September should check it. Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim a prize, and prizes not claimed in time go to good causes funded by the National Lottery.
Players can check their numbers on the National Lottery website or app, or at any shop that sells tickets.
After the jackpot was won, the prize went back to its starting level. The jackpot for the following Tuesday's draw was estimated at £14 million.
EuroMillions draws take place every Tuesday and Friday evening.
