A car ended up on its roof in the middle of a road in Cippenham, Slough, on Saturday 26 September, and emergency services were called to the scene.
Footage shared with UB1UB2 shows the car lying fully upside down at a junction. Thames Valley Police officers and two ambulances were there, and the road was blocked while crews worked.
The footage was filmed in daylight from a passing car. It shows emergency vehicles and people in high-visibility jackets gathered near the junction, with traffic slowing as it approached.
What is and is not known
Thames Valley Police has not confirmed how the car came to overturn. It has also not said whether anyone was injured, or how many vehicles were involved.
The exact junction has not been officially named, and neither has the length of time the road stayed closed. Nothing has been confirmed about any arrests or further action.
The ambulances at the scene suggest people were being checked or treated, but the ambulance service has not confirmed whether anyone went to hospital.
About the area
Cippenham is a mainly residential area in the west of Slough, between the A4 Bath Road and the M4. Its local roads carry a lot of traffic, especially near schools, shops and the routes between the town centre and the motorway.
Road safety has been a worry for some residents in the area before. In November 2025, seven children were hurt when a car mounted the pavement on Cippenham Lane, outside Westgate School.
While the road was blocked, drivers going through Cippenham were told to expect delays and to take care near the scene.
