Roads in Northolt were closed on Thursday afternoon, 8 October, after a crash between a motorbike and a car near Northala Fields.
The collision happened at about 2pm in the area around Ealing Road and Kensington Road. Police put a cordon around the junction next to the park, and drivers were told to expect heavy traffic and use other routes.
London's Air Ambulance landed on the grass mounds at Northala Fields. Police officers and London Ambulance Service crews were also at the scene.
What was seen at the scene
Footage shared with UB1UB2 shows a car stopped in the road with its windscreen badly caved in where the motorbike appears to have hit it.
Pictures taken on Ealing Road in the early afternoon show several police cars and an ambulance stopped in the carriageway, with officers standing at the cordon further along the road.
The Metropolitan Police had not said what condition the rider or anyone else involved was in. Police have not confirmed whether anyone was arrested or what caused the crash.
An air ambulance being sent usually means a doctor and paramedic team has been called to treat someone at the scene. It does not in itself show how badly anyone was hurt.
About the area
Northala Fields is a large park in Northolt, in the London Borough of Ealing, next to the A40. It is best known for its four cone-shaped mounds, made from rubble from building projects in London. They can be seen from the A40 and have become a landmark for people driving into west London.
Its wide open grass makes it one of the places in the area where a helicopter can land close to the busy roads around it.
Ealing Road and Kensington Road are local routes on the eastern side of Northolt, close to the park. A closure there can quickly cause queues on nearby streets and on the roads leading to the A40, especially as traffic builds in the afternoon.

Anyone who saw the collision, or has dashcam or other footage from the area at around 2pm on Thursday, 8 October, can contact the police on 101 and quote the date and place. Information can also be given anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
